Like eBay Amazon.com has been online around 1995 but Amazon has had a very different up-bringing. In the early days of Amazon.com only sold 5 types of products, these were Compact Disks, Computer Hardware, Computer Software, Videos, and Books. As Amazon.com has grown over the years, now they sell everything you can think of.

Some people online are making money from what is known as (Flipping Websites). For experienced users this can be an easy task but for beginners this can be a nightmare.
First off you need to select what niche you want to sell into. You will need to buy a domain name; this is what people will fist see in search engine results and what they will type into the URL address bar on your browser.
You will then need a hosting package for your domain; your hosting is what you will install your website onto so it becomes viewable to the world. You would then add your affiliate products and Google Adsense and promote your website. When you sell your website all you need to do is transfer the domain name to the new owner and your done with that project and it’s time to move onto another.

When you decide to become an affiliate you are effectively becoming an Internet Marketer and an Internet Market creates accounts on sites like Amazon Associates Program then puts Amazon products on their websites alongside Google Adsense and then advertises these sites everywhere he/ she possibly can. When search engines index these sites then when you search for something like iPhones you get the results.
Affiliate marketing is a very good way to make money online, mainly because the initial outlay is very low and you can potentially make thousands.

Showing people how a certain goal is achieved is big business these days. There is a lot of money to be made helping others to achieve a goal.
Anyone can become a tutor, you don’t need any qualifications, and you just need to be committed to your cause of helping others. You can setup a website with a contact form and your prices and people will come to you.
The best places to advertise yourself as a tutor is on freelance websites. These are free to join but they do take a commission when you get hired by someone. All you have to do is search for them on Google.
9. SEO Services
Starting an SEO business is not as easy as some people online make it out to be. You need to know what you are talking about; you can’t just enter this niche and hope it all falls into place.
Search Engine Optimisation is a process that every website on the Internet needs to go through. You will need to become an expert in the following areas.
- Keyword Research
- Keyword Optimisation
- Registering Domains
- Getting Good Hosting Deals
- Advertising
- Content Creation
Your clients will be expecting for you to get them to the top of search engine results for their chosen keywords.
If you’re new to SEO but still want to make money in this niche then I suggest that you read everything you can online about it. There is lots of competition out there.
There is a lot of money to be made with this method, but it’s also very time consuming.
10. Blogging
A blog is short for “Web-Log”. It is basically a website that is only updated with entries, comments, events, videos etc. A blog is usually maintained by a single person who is known as a “Blogger”. The blog will be kept up to date by the blogger with new content of all kinds. Some bloggers will update their blogs more than others.
A lot of major companies have blog online these days that their blogger will keep up to date with product info, special offers etc. Your blog can be on any niche you choose, if you can monetize your niche then it will make starting a blog worthwhile.

11. Selling Home-Made Products Online
If you have a hobby in creating stuff like girl’s bobbles, cupcakes, t-shirts etc. then did you know that you can make some really good money by selling these online.

When you have your list you will need to build a relationship with the people on your list by sending them stuff that they are interested in, also send them freebies so they will welcome your emails in the future. Then when you have their trust can you send them something that they have to buy so you can make some money.
13. Selling Status Updates
Everyone these days have a Twitter or Facebook account, it is also very easy to get a large following on these networks with much effort. Did you know that you can make money from your Social Networking accounts?
If you do have a large following on these networks then advertisers want to reach out and put their adverts onto your Twitter and Facebook pages. You can earn from $1 a tweet to $100 a tweet. If this interests you then you can register for these sites for free and you can even set what you want to charge advertisers.
When you register on these sites you can either become a publisher and pay for tweets to get your message out there onto peoples Twitter and Facebook profiles or you can become an Advertiser and charge Publishers to advertise on your accounts.
This is a good way to make money for doing practically nothing but it does take time to get your account noticed by good publishers.
14. Selling Stock Photography
Some people make money online by selling their photos. You do not have to be a professional photographer to take and sell photo’s online these days. If you can take a good quality picture then you can sell it. From a $12 disposable camera to a $1000 kit, a photo is a photo and people are looking to buy them online.
Advertisers like good high resolution pictures, not just of all the big named products but scenery, cars, and cute pets sell very well online.

15. Freelancing
Freelancing or freelance working is someone that is self-employed that is hired to complete a certain task or job online. Someone may be looking for someone who can write a story, build a website, make a good logo etc. If you can do work and do it to deadlines and within a certain budget then this could be the niche for you.
Freelancing can be very profitable if you can complete the work to a very high professional standard. A regular 9-5 day job may be hard to find these days but freelancing online are easily applied for.
Most freelancing sites will pay you half upfront and the other half on completion, if you do good work that your client likes then they can give you a bonus, you should always do work to the best of your ability.
