How To Flirt With a Girl Over Text: Amazing 10 Tips To Do It Right

If you’re looking for some strategies on how to flirt with a girl over text, then you’ll love this article.

Flirting has always been a difficult task for most people. For those who are good at it have what almost seems to be an innate gift. In today’s world with texting a primary form of communication flirting has become even more a problem for some of us. Well I am writing down a few words of wisdom that I hope will help in your text flirting endeavor.

So whether it’s just a cute guy or girl you just met or a high school crush you have had for years sending the right text message at the right time can work wonders. The key is to flirt with them in such a way to have them thinking about you when you’re not texting one another. Good luck!

How To Flirt With a Girl Over Text:

1. Don’t be shy, get the ball rolling!

In today’s world there is no reason to be afraid to take the plunge, so be the first to send a flirty text message. It’s okay, trust me. You will not come across as clingy, needy, or desperate but instead someone showing initiative. Remember ultimately text flirting will be a two way street so starting the process is harmless.

2. Start off with a bang, not a thud!

Just saying a simple hi or hello with a cute smiley face is not going to get the job done. You need a good opening that will get a nice conversation going. For example sending “I heard about this great new movie out” is much better than an awkward gap between to hi’s with nothing more prepared to say.

So be ready with communication ideas and personalize them if you can. Also use a lot of winks, smiley faces, xoxo’s, and the like in your flirty texts. Putting them in your messages will give it a mysterious, sexy, and romantic type tone you’re looking for.

3. Don’t beat them over the head with it, instead be subtle!

The best way to text flirt is to be mysterious as possible. Use the dangling carrot so they will be left wanting more. Sending texts that exhume innocence on the surface but may have other possible interpretations is always a winner. I will leave it up to you how naughty to get here, but you get the idea.

A clean example might be “Next time we meet we should do something exciting!”. For you ladies out there a good one might be “I’m going to a cookout later, I don’t know if I should wear this little black skirt or shorts.” I think you get my drift.

You will be careful to not cross the line from flirty to dirty, unless that’s what you are looking for. If that’s the case then this is not the article for you. This is for flirt texting and not sexting.

I am a guy and I know we sometimes get excited and go to far. So for you ladies in this scenario your reply to an over the line comment is crucial. So if he goes overboard just send him a wink to let him know you got it but change the subject. Unless he’s slow he will understand and the wink will keep him encouraged.

4. Get them thinking about you!

You will not want to be direct here but instead use subliminal messages to get them wanting to meet you. For example, there’s a new coffee shop opening up, we should try it sometime? You don’t want to be direct and say I want to meet you, instead use the other approach. Using open ended questions I think works best in most situations.

5. Be patient not an eager beaver!

If you reply to each and every text immediately it might come across as you just sitting on your hands waiting for them with nothing better to do. Waiting five to ten minutes to reply can sometimes be a good thing. Remember you don’t want to come across as needy. Waiting a short while can actually have positive results. It will tell them that even though you might be busy you are still wanting to text him.

6. Spread it out to make it last!

The whole idea when flirt texting is to keep the excitement going. That being said don’t use all you ammunition at one time. You can flirt text over a span of hours or even days if you play your cards right. This will hopefully tell who you are flirting with that chatting with you is not boring.

7. Don’t get frustrated!

You should not get upset if they don’t respond back to you right away. Remember they are playing the game too, maybe? So keep your composure and never reply back asking if they got the message! Wait for a response!

8. Ask good questions!

Remember the key to flirt conversations are those that are open ended. You want to ask questions that require thought and typically require more than yes or no answers. Remember to use winks and make the question playful.

9. Everyone likes compliments!

Giving compliments is a winner because everyone, no matter who they are enjoys getting them. It works wonders with attracting you to them and does not take a lot of effort on your part. As a guy I know having a girl boosting my ego feels great, and who doesn’t like to feel good. One of my favorites “You look great, have you been working out.” When I hear that I can just feel muscles rippling whether I had actually been working out or not. It works.

10. Just be careful what you text

My motto is to not flirt text something you would feel uncomfortable if someone else read. Truth be told you never know who’s reading it anyway. Haven’t you ever texted someone while hanging out with friends, well that goes both ways. I believe in putting forth a positive image so dirty, vulgar, explicit conversations is not what this post is meant to help with or about.

Flirting if done the right way can be fun, even if you’re doing it when texting one another.
